The service
Light Tools provides image compression and editing, document-to-Markdown conversion, JSON processing and random password generation in the browser. The current tools do not require an account. Supported formats, size limits and processing restrictions are described on each tool’s page.
Tools depend on your browser and device resources. We may fix, update, change or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, suitability for every purpose or compatibility with every file.
Features requiring a network or server
Some future features may depend on connectivity, server resources or third-party processing services. Submission requirements, limits and availability will be described for each feature. By choosing to submit content, you authorize us and the identified providers to process it only as needed to perform the service you request; you retain your content rights.
Data transmission, retention and deletion will be explained before submission alongside the Privacy Policy. Current local tools continue to operate as described on their pages.
Responsible use
Process only content you own or are authorized to use, and comply with applicable law. Do not use the site to infringe others’ rights, distribute malicious code, disrupt the service or attempt unauthorized access.
Do not interfere with normal operation through automated requests or other means. Please report vulnerabilities or security issues through our contact channel.
Your content and results
You retain your rights to your original content. Using a tool does not transfer those rights to us or authorize us to publish your files. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of content and results respects applicable rights.
Keep original files and save results before leaving the page. Conversion, compression, parsing or editing may change content, quality or formatting; check results before relying on or publishing them. The password generator is not a password manager and cannot store or recover passwords for you.
Website and third-party resources
Rights in the interface, branding, code and other materials belong to their respective owners. Third-party components and open-source software have their own licenses; these terms do not limit rights those licenses grant you. External websites and services have their own terms.
Limitations and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, tools are provided as available and as is, without guarantees of accuracy, completeness, freedom from errors or fitness for a particular purpose. Check results for your intended use and protect your original files and device.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from service interruption, data loss or use of results. These terms do not exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or affect mandatory consumer rights.
